Who we are
Hensu LLC is an independent software company based in the United States. GPTSheet is one of several products in the Hensu portfolio — see hensu.co for the full list. Here, we build tools that let people use large language models inside the spreadsheets they already work in — without handing their data or their AI keys to a middleman.
Our flagship product is GPTSheet, a Google Sheets add-on that adds AI formulas (=AI, =AI_CLASSIFY, =AI_EXTRACT, and more), a chat agent that can read and write your sheet, and connectors that pull data from Stripe, Google Analytics, PostHog, SQL databases and other sources directly into your spreadsheet.
How we build
- Bring your own key. You use your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini API key. Prompts and cell data go straight from your browser or Google's Apps Script runtime to the AI provider you chose. Hensu LLC operates no proxy in that path.
- Pay once. GPTSheet is sold as a lifetime license, not a subscription. Our servers see only your license key and the email it is bound to.
- Your data stays in your sheet. We do not collect, store, or train on spreadsheet contents. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we do store.
